Soft Washing vs Pressure Washing
What is Soft Washing? Soft washing uses low pressure, usually less than 100 psi, to apply soap and rinse. We use soft washing on siding such as vinyl and asphalt roofs. The low water pressure prevents potential damage to the surfaces. On the other side, we have Pressure Washing. Pressure Washing uses high-pressure water to force dirt and grime off a surface. We utilize pressure washing for surfaces such as concrete. Soap and degreasers may also be used to wash with this method. We also use pressure to wash away debris such as bubble gum. When you see black spots on concrete especially around storefronts it normally gum. High-pressure hot water is the key to removal.
